Let me ask you a question...
What are you good at?
I mean, what things are you best at in your work, in sport or
your hobbies and pastimes?
What subjects were you best at when you were at school?
OK, it's more than one question, but they really all amount
to the same thing....
What are you good at?
I'm sure if your really think about it carefully you'll come to
the same conclusion as I did and that is, ....
I'M MUCH BETTER AT THE THINGS I REALLY ENJOY.
So if you want to do your best magic, don't try to copy all
the great magicians you see on television or the really big
illusions just because you're impressed by them.
Usually we copy these things, because we want to receive
the same adulation, admiration and audience response that
these magnificent magicians command every time they perform.
However, you'll never be as good as these magicians unless
you're doing the things you ENJOY.....
AND THAT'S THE SECRET OF SUCCESS!
Pick the areas of magic that you really enjoy and you'll find
that you practice more and you'll therefore become really
GOOD AT IT.
That way you most certainly will command the admiration
and respect of your audience and your friends, because
YOU'RE REALLY GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO.
That's how you will perform your best magic!
